In 2014, Box opened our Austin office, located in One American Center near the Texas Capitol. As we continued to expand our customer base, we also expanded our operations by tapping into the city’s vibrant tech community.
The community at Box is incredibly supportive. From your teammates to your managers to other departments, everyone wants to make sure we are winning together and 10x-ing our professional development. In Austin specifically, we keep it weird! We have a lot of in-person happy hours, tasty treats dropped off from Boxers, and volunteer activities that continue to build camaraderie. The energy in Austin in unique, it truly feels special to be in this office.
Since joining Box, I have felt empowered by my peers to bring my most authentic self to work every day.
